Exciting News! MUN will have a special guest speaker this year! Ms. Chapeta will speak at 8:00am on Saturday morning.
Lister Chapeta is a Gender and Mediation Policy Specialist at UN Women. In her current role she works to reinforce the development of work within the area of gender and mediation, including policy development and coordination, learning and knowledge production and management, and the support to networks of women mediators and women leaders. Prior to her current role she was the UN Women Regional Programme Specialist for Africa in New York working on programme development and political analysis. She worked with UNFPA in Kenya as a Gender and Population Dynamics Analyst from 2010 - 2014 . Lister graduated from Harvard University and the Graduate Institute (IHEID) with degrees in Economics. |
