"Democracy must be learned by each generation"
Our organization is rooted in creating the next generation of thoughtful, committed and active citizens by teaching them the young adults across Louisiana about the principles of democratic society. We develop leaders through their roles modelling local, state and national government at our conference to spark real action in your community. From the connections made with students from across the state to the impact the program has had on tens of thousands across the nation, our delegates are committed to getting the word out.
Club Development Committee
In November 2016, the inaugural Club Development Committee, made up of program staff and delegates from across Louisiana convened to address three items: (1) creating a system to support the sustainability of our current clubs, (2) develop a process to bring in new clubs and delegates and (3) fill a void in diversity that represents the melting pot of our state. The CDC is currently using these items as objectives as we develop new and innovative strategies to grow the program and our impact in Louisiana.
