Youth & Government Program sTaff
The YMCA Youth & Government program is run and facilitated by a team of program alumni and YMCA leadership.
Program Council
The Program Council is responsible for the management, development and operation of local conferences and participation in national programs. The council is led by Eddrick Martin, Program Director, and Isha Matta, Academic Director.
Senior Advisors
Each Program Council member leads a specific branch of program senior advisors. Program senior advisors hold specialty roles within each area of the program. Senior advisors are selected from the alumni team based on years of involvement and leadership development.
Junior Advisors
Each year, graduating conference delegates are offered the opportunity to apply for the program's alumni team. These team members assist with program and conference operations and assist with conference improvement projects. Alumni are selected based on embodiment of the Youth and Government values, conference performance and volunteer capacity.
